Born from a desire to push the boundaries of American rye whiskey, RY3 is built on the principles of craft, blending, and cask finishing. In 2017, Karthik Sudhir set out to create a spirits company that didn’t play it safe—one driven by intention, precision, and a willingness to challenge convention. That vision became Phenomenal Spirits.
RY3 Whiskey launched in 2020 with a distinct philosophy: bring together exceptional rye whiskeys, compose them with precision, and elevate them through carefully selected cask finishes. The objective was never to follow tradition—but to expand what rye whiskey could become. What emerged is a multi-award-winning portfolio defined by depth, structure, and layered complexity—earning recognition from critics, collectors, and the trade. Today, RY3 continues to evolve as a modern expression of American whiskey—crafted through blending, defined by its finish, and built to stand apart.
